Together, they make breathing easier. Ambrodil-S Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Drug Warnings
Before taking Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml, let your doctor know if have a history of heart, liver and kidney diseases. Also tell your doctor if you have a stomach ulcer, seizure (fits), high blood pressure, and diabetes before taking Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml. Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml causes hypokalaemia (low potassium levels in the blood), therefore should be used with caution in patients with bronchospasm. Special precautions should be taken in patients with hyperthyroidism and epilepsy. Ambrodil S Syrup 100 ml can cause a rise in blood glucose levels. Hence monitor your blood glucose levels if you have diabetes and inform your doctor so that the dose can be adjusted accordingly. Also, let your doctor know if you plan to become pregnant or already pregnant and a lactating mother.
