Bilypsa Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of Noncirrhotic Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis, Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) with comorbidities (like obesity, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Dyslipidemia or Metabolic Syndrome), and high cholesterol in diabetes (diabetic dyslipidemia).
Bilypsa Tablet may be taken with or without food, at the same time each day, to get the most benefit and you should not stop taking it unless your doctor recommends it. It is important to stay on the diet and exercise program recommended by your doctor while taking this medicine. Your lifestyle plays a big part in maintaining a healthy body weight, which will help protect your liver to a great extent.
The most common side effects of this medicine are flatulence, indigestion, abdominal distension, increased body temperature, and weakness. These are usually not severe. Please consult your doctor if the side effects worry you or if they do not go away.

PPAR-alpha reduces the synthesis and secretion of triglycerides, increases lipolysis and hepatic oxidation of fatty acids. It also induces an increase in the synthesis of HDL cholesterol. PPAR-gamma reduces the metabolic burden on the liver, muscle and promotes glucose utilisation, and improves post-absorptive insulin-mediated suppression of hepatic glucose output. Bilypsa Tablet 45’s has both lipid and glucose-lowering effects in a single molecule; this helps in lowering blood triglycerides and blood glucose levels as well. Drug Warnings
Do not take Bilypsa Tablet 45’s if you are allergic to any of the components. Inform your doctor if you notice rapid weight gain. Consult your doctor before taking Bilypsa Tablet 45’s if you are pregnant. It is not known if Bilypsa Tablet 45’s is excreted into breastmilk; therefore, nursing mothers should avoid taking Bilypsa Tablet 45’s. Bilypsa Tablet 45’s should not be given to children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Bilypsa Tablet 45’s might cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Bilypsa Tablet 45’s as it might cause unpleasant side-effects.
