Nexpro tablet treats acid reflux disease and stomach and intestinal ulcers. It also helps eradicate a bacteria called H. Pylori to reduce the risk of intestinal ulcers. Additionally, it is used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is characterised by excessive stomach acid production due to tumours in the pancreas. Nexpro tablet contains esomeprazole as the active ingredient. It acts by lowering the acid production in the stomach.
Watch for foods and beverages that appear to cause acidity-related problems. Try to eat smaller and more frequent meals, eat less oily and spicy foods, avoid alcohol, and drink plenty of water. Contact your doctor or a nutritionist for more personalised dietary changes. Some other medicines that contain esomeprazole are Esogress 40mg tablet, Raciper 40mg tablet, Esmetru 40mg tablet, Neksium 40mg tablet, and Sompraz 40 tablet.
This medicine should be taken in doses and at a duration as advised by the doctor or pharmacist. It should preferably be taken on an empty stomach one hour before a meal. Do not miss any dose or take it more often than your doctor prescribes.

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a condition that occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into your food pipe. The symptoms include heartburn, indigestion, difficulty in swallowing, etc. Nexpro MG Tablet helps in the treatment of GERD by decreasing stomach acid production.
Helicobacter pylori Infection
Helicobacter Pylori infection is a bacterial infection affecting your stomach and intestine caused by Helicobacter pylori. It is a very common infection that may cause ulcers in your stomach and intestion. Nexpro MG Tablet is used in combination with antibiotics to treat and prevent Helicobacter Pylori infection.
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome is a condition in which tumours form in the pancreas (an organ located behind the stomach) and duodenum (the first part of the small intestine). These tumours produce a hormone called gastrin which in turn causes excessive stomach acid. Nexpro MG Tablet is used to reduce the excessive amount of acid produced in the stomach due to tumours.
Peptic Ulcer
Peptic ulcers are sores that are formed in the lining of your stomach and duodenum (the beginning of the small intestine). It occurs when excess acid produced in the stomach damages the protective layer of your stomach and small intestine. Nexpro MG Tablet is used to treat ulcers of the stomach and small intestine.

For the treatment of ulcers in the stomach (peptic ulcer) and intestine.
Provides relief from heartburn, pain and chest pain due to acid reflux disease (Gastroesophageal reflux disease).
To treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition of increased acid production in the stomach due to a tumour.
It helps to eradicate infection of the bacteria H. Pylori, which, if left untreated, can cause ulcers.
