About Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet
Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s is a combination medication primarily used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation (swelling) associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s may also be indicated in the treatment of pain associated with post-traumatic and post-operative cases.
Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s combines two drugs: Aceclofenac (painkiller) and Rabeprazole (antacid). Aceclofenac works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme that makes other chemical prostaglandins. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser prostaglandins are produced. This helps reduce mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Aceclofenac has been reported to cause gastric discomfort and acidity. Hence, it is combined with Rabeprazole, a medicine belonging to a group of proton pump inhibitors that reduce the amount of acid the stomach makes, thus preventing damage to the stomach. Thus, the combination helps alleviate pain with minimal gastric irritation caused due to Aceclofenac alone.
Take Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience indigestion, stomach pain, constipation, dizziness, nausea and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Before taking the Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s, let your doctor know about all your allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to medicines or food. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from kidney, liver, or heart disease. Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s may cause dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery unless you are alert. Directions for Use
Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.
